WorcsterScene was developed by Luke M. Vaillancourt for the sole purpose of having a single resource for people to find the hidden treasures of Worcester and know how to get there. WorcesterScene has two faces; the first is to act as an online directory for people to go to find information on a specific place or to find something new to try. The second face is a communication channel to enable participating businesses to reach out to people that are willing, and anxious, to try new places. Because there are so many neat little places that are often overlooked by the cities residence, the editor often may not even know about them. All restaurants, bars and nightclubs, and arts and entertainment businesses can be listed within the general directory for no cost.
