“Last year thousands of people turned out for our popular night of great tastes,” confirmed Paul T. Barber, Chairman, Taste of Shrewsbury Street 2008. “For 2008, we’ve got much more fun in store. Our hometown “Restaurant Row” is a great place to dine, and the word is out, louder than ever. What’s more, we’re making it even easier to travel from one end of the Street to the other. We’re looking forward to another awesome night!”
The celebrated eateries of Worcester’s own “Restaurant Row” will offer attendees tastings of delectable edibles from over 40 ethnically diverse Shrewsbury Street restaurants. In addition to sampling great eats, attendees will enjoy Street-side live international music, “Taste of Fashion” show, stART On The Street’s exciting local art, the Giant Cookie Contest, beverage tastings, live radio broadcasts (hosted by Oldies
98.9 FM WORC-FM, The Pike 100.1 FM, and WXLO 104.5 FM), Italian Singers, and so much more.
