Worcester Historical Museum is a Gem

A while back I visited the Worcester Historical Museum again and realized how lucky the city is to have such a wonderful institution. The museum is jam packed with history and is a great place to spend a Saturday morning. Of course you know the smiley face was invented here, but did you know that barbed wire, the monkey wrench and the space suit also have their roots in Worcester.

The museum has educational programs and a library, they also operate the Salisbury Mansion.

The museum is open Tuesday thru Sunday, 10am - 4pm and 8:30pm on Thursday nights. Check out the website www.worcesterhistory.org
