For most Patriot’s fans, this year’s Super Bowl might bring back some real bad memories from last year. Nonetheless, we will probably all still watch the game, albeit with some reluctance. So now the question becomes, where? Worcester is a great sports city which means there will always be some great places to watch the big sporting events, even if we have to share them with some stray Steelers or Cardinal fans (are there really any true Cardinal fans?).
On Shrewsbury Street, Brew City is having a Party featuring a buffet with hand carved Prime Rib and more. Everyone purchasing a ticket gets 10 raffle tickets and chances to win dinners, TVs and Celtic’s tickets. Victory Bar and Cigar will be open and is always a great place to relax with your favorite smoke. And since that Pats aren’t playing, you won’t have to get all worked up unless of course you have a friendly wager on the game.
On Highland Street, Grille 57 will be open with a half time buffet. This casual spot has experienced a rebirth of sorts and has great TVs to watch the game.
Peppercorn’s on Park Ave is having Free Apps from 5-8 in their newly expanded lounge.
Other great spots include the Banner Bar & Grill, McFadden’s, Boston Billiards, Jillian’s, Center Bar & Grill and Jose Murphy’s.
Of course, you will enjoy the game just about anywhere you go as long as the beer is cold, the wings are hot and your friends are fun – and since the Giants can’t win, us Patriot’s fans can’t be as disappointed as last year!
